Our Activities & Achievements
Global Law Foundation completing two years of its inception. The GLF has a tremendous progress in its multi faceat activities. The Global Laws which is the legal consultation and litigation division of GLF is well established and is having nearly 1000 clients and has made remarkable achievements in the course to protect justice for the clients and also in various other legal forums including Green Tribunal, Lokayuktha, Co-operative Tribunal etc.,. The GLF has now organized six direct centres of activities viz., Kannur, Thalassery, Mahe, Kozhikode, Benguluru and Whitefield. The net work of the global laws is expanding all over the county and crossing the border by its presence in gulf countries. The global laws has launched a new scheme of Annual Legal Consultation Agreement (ALCA) to provide legal consultation for specific period of one year particularly for small firms. The online legal consultation scheme which will launch shortly is to provide free legal aid for the public as a whole and easily access to solve the legal problems to our clients.
GLF has started functioning of Global Centre for Guidance and Councilling (GCGC) and it was inaugurated on 28.2.2016. It is proud that ‘ the Laws N Views, the publication division of GLF is publishing its first publication shortly. The school of law and management is also taking off within months. PLF which is the sister concern of GLF is established its presence in the society by stamping its activities in the field of human right protection, environment protection and in the field of corporate administration and also for establishing free legal centres for the poor and needy.
Mahe office of GLF was inaugurated in December 2015 and Kozhikode office was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor of Kozhikode Municipal Corporation on 31st January 2016 in the presence of Vice Chairman of Central Administrative Tribunal Sri. K.V. Sachidanandan. A big gathering was present. Whilefield office was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLA and Former Minister of Karnataka Sri. Aravinda Limbavali in which Sri. Subeer Harisingh IAS (Retd) and Smt. Jeeja Madhavan Harisingh IPS (Retd.) in the presence of other dignitaries and a big gathering. Corporate office of the GLF was inaugurated on 28.2.2016 by Sri. K.J. George , Hon’ble Minister for Development, State of Karnataka at Indira Nagar in the presence of Smt. Jeeja Madhavan Harisingh and other dignitaries in a function attended and presided by the Chairman.
It is a notable achievement that the first anniversary of the GLF and the launching of PLF a charitable society functioning as the sister concern of PLF was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Justice A.Muhammed Mushthaq, Hon’ble High Court of Kerala on 10.11.2015. The function was well attended by various important persons from various parts of life and a seminar was conducted in which Adv. T.Asaf Ali, The director General of Prosecution, Government of Kerala, Dr. Sebastian Paul, former M.P, Jony Lukose, News Director, Malayala Manorama and other dignitaries have participated. In the function the human right protection cell was inaugurated by Sri.K.K.Ragesh, M.P and free legal aid centre and environment protection cell under the PLF was inaugurated by Prof. Richard Hay, M.P.

The PLF along with All India Lawyers Union conducted two conferences for the protection of human rights in Thalassery and Kannur on 29.2.2016 and 1.3.2016 in which Sri. K.K.Dineshan, Hon’ble Justice of High Court of Kerala (Retd) and other were participated. A big gathering for both the functions shows the importance of the issues taken up by the organising committee.
PLF is also planning to organize People Law Forums in all Districts of Kerala State with joining hands with other like minded charitable organizations. PL Forums organized at various centres will also be the centre for free legal assistance for the poor and needy people. The initiation taken by PLF to protect the interest of the people who was denied compensation of land acquired for the byepass in national highway between Muzhappilangad-Mahe by public interest litigation was well appreciated. It is also a remarkable achievement for the PLF in its initiation taken in Green Tribunal Chennai Division Bench to protect the environment by preventing the polluted liquid waste on the highways during the time of transportation of fish causing serious health hazards and pollution to the environment. The Green Tribunal, Chennai Bench has appreciated the initiation taken by PLF and the uncompromising attitude by the organization in the protection of environment by means of public interest litigation.
